The Fleet Service Manager will be responsible for effective driver utilization to maximize customer satisfaction through the coordination of equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administers and supports safety to ensure a safe workplace and to be in compliance with DOT regulations and multi-state laws
Coordinates equipment repair with appropriate maintenance staff to reduce mechanical failures and delays
Completes necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner to ensure an efficient and steady flow of information
Confidently makes good decisions under pressure
Communicates effectively both in person and on the phone with management and drivers, providing concise instruction or information
Keeps track of inventory
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to work 30 hours per week
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including day and/or evening hours
Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license
Must be authorized to work in the United States
ASE certification preferred
Experience in fleet maintenance/management and supervision management
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Familiarity and working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, collision repair, systems, components, and design

Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multitask
Intermediate-to-advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word

Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures
